The development of macromolecular chemistry is inseparably linked with the search for the possibility to enhance the selectivity of polymerization reactions and to control the formation of the molecular and supramolecular structure of monomers. For radical polymerization, of crucial importance in the tailor-made synthesis of regular polymers are coordination compounds, first of all transition metal complexes [111], which can either be introduced into the polymerization system as a preliminarily synthesized compound or form in situ in the reaction mixture by the reaction of system components. Of special interest to researchers are pseudo-living polymerization (atom transfer radical polymerization [3,4], stable free radical polymerization [1, 2, 5], organometallic radical polymerization [6]) and complex (coordination)- radical polymerization [1, 7-11] with the participation of organometallic compounds capable of having an effect on all stages of the process, i.e., on chain initiation, propagation, and termination. In this context, it is important to search for new metal-containing modifying additives and create on their basis high-performance initiating and catalytic systems for radical polymerization of vinyl monomers.
