Real Life Problem Solving through Simulations in the Die Casting Industry - Case Studies

This presentation will highlight some of the case studies, where the various simulation techniques helped in solving real life problems in die casting industry using various simulation techniques viz., design analysis, die casting process simulations, machining optimizations, etc. The cases will not only demonstrate the effectiveness of the various techniques but also their simplicity in use and the numerous practical areas of application. The objective of the paper is to rekindle, energize and encourage the fellow die casting fraternity to use more simulation techniques on day to day applications of problem solving, resulting in cost savings and lasting peace of mind.
