Institute to Hold 50th Conference & Expo in Chicago

The Investment Casting Institute will convene its 50th Technical Conference & Expo at the Fairmont Hotel, Chicago, Illinois from September 29-October 2, 2002. According to Michael C. Perry, Executive Director of the Institute, "This event, held under the banner 'A Proud Past, A Dynamic Future,' will be one of our strongest ever. We have more than 20 technical papers scheduled for presentation, and although the conference is more than four months away, 65 exhibitors have alrady booked an exhibit booth, leaving only 10 available. Also, we will announce the winners of our casting contest at the conference." The conference's technical sessions will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. The exhibits will be open afterwards from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. The exhibit will feature product samples, video and software presentations, and extensive product literature. "The exhibits offer attendees an opportunity to gather information on the latest equipment, products, and services. There will be ample opportunity to talk one-on-one with suppliers and to network with peers," says Perry.
