The synthesis and analysis of Ce_(0.95-y)Pr_(0.05)Sm_yO_(2-y/2) pigments

摘要

The synthesis of new colorants based on CeO_2 has been investigated, the focus of which was the preparation of pigments for colouring ceramic glazes. The synthesis of these colorants involved high-temperature calcinations of the oxides and determination of the optimum conditions for their synthesis. The pigments were evaluated in terms of their structure, colour and ability to color ceramic glazes.
