Velocity profiles and heat exchange in turbulent flows through smooth and rough pipes

In the framework of the model in [1, 2], which is also presented in monograph [3], we solve the problem of velocity profiles and heat transfer in a turbulent flow through smooth and rough pipes. The shape of the solution is determined by the model parameters and boundary conditions. In the case of zero roughness, the solution for a rough pipe agrees with the solution for a smooth pipe.
