摘要

The morphology, mechanical properties, elemental composition, and characteristics of grain boundaries (GB) of highly transparent ceramics based on partially disordered garnet are investigated by modern methods of scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy, micro-hardness, and transport-kinetic characteristics of phonons in the region of cryogenic (liquid helium) temperatures. The morphology, elemental composition, and deformation structure of ceramics was studied by scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy, and mechanical properties were studied by determination of micro-hardness. The load on the indenter was selected so that not only imprints themselves but also radial cracks from them were reliably fixed. The fracture toughness was determined in the experiments for measurement of linear sizes of radial cracks C that appear near the place of the load application as a function of indenter load P.
