The study of system (4)–(7) is motivated by a number of physical considerations (see [5]) suggesting that systems of this type have advantages in comparison with (1)–(3) when applied to the simulation of transport in fluid dynamics (see [1]). If (4)–(7) is considered as a regularization of (1)–(3), then ψ should be selected as u/t at t = 0.
