Spectral theory of root transfer matrices and its application to statistical models on a triangular lattice

The present-day state of the general theory of lattice models in statistical mechanics was presented in [1–4]. The concept of a root transfer matrix (RTM) was introduced in [4] in the framework of the transfer matrix approach. In this paper, a spectral theory of RTMs for trilinear models with a field is developed, which implies new effects in the theory of critical points and phase transitions of trilinear models.
