Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome (WPW) with FBI-Tachycardia Diagnosed in a 47 Years Old Female Patient

A 47-year old female patient was brought into our emergency room presenting an arrythmic broad-complex-tachycardia. The patient has had episodes of palpitation and allodromy with presynko-pes since her childhood. The ECG of the patient showed an atrial fibrillation which was convertible into a sinus rhythm by electrical cardioversion (eCV). After performing the eCV an ECG revealed delta-waves which lead to the diagnosis of a WPW-syndrome. The accessory pathway was treated successfully by radio frequency ablation.
