When most people think of Germany's Motorenfabrik Hatz, the image of air-cooled single and multicylinder diesel engines and power units probably comes to mind. But that image could probably stand some updating, thanks to the new liquid-cooled engine that Hatz unveiled at bauma 2013 this spring. The new H-series engine line is among the most technically advanced products the company has ever developed - which is saying something when you're talking about a manufacturer whose roots go back to the 1880s.
