GOING DOWN A NEW ROAD: As markets continue to lag, Terex Roadbuilding restructures; consolidating sales, modernizing facilities

The prolonged economic downturn and continued consolidation in its customer base have prompted Terex Roadbuilding to restructure some manufacturing and sales processes. The three facilities that make up the company's roadbuilding business - Canton, S.D.; Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Oklahoma City, Okla. - will be working more closely together as a unit, said David Rinas, who was recently named director of sales and marketing for Terex Roadbuilding. This effort is being mirrored in the field, as now all Terex Roadbuilding district managers will sell and support the entire product offering from Terex Bid-Well pavers to ready-mix trucks to asphalt and concrete paving and production equipment.
