Stone Expands Compactor Line With New Silver Fox Series

Upgrading its walk-behind compaction line, Stone Construction Equipment, Inc. has developed eight new models of forward vibratory plate compactors. The new compactors comprise the Silver Fox series, a new trademark for the company, with a compaction range of 2200 to 5100 lb. The two smallest models, the SFP2200 and SFP2200A, have a 13 in. compaction plate that Stone said is ideal for small landscaping jobs, narrow utility trenches and homeowner projects. The other six models in the series have a 20 in. compaction base plate and include two general-purpose models, the SFP3000 and SFP3000A; two professional all-purpose models, the SFP4000 and SFP4000A; a machine dedicated to asphalt compaction that features a custom water system, the SFA3500; and the SFP5100 for large dirt jobs.
