Diesel Publications Mourns Rob Wilson

Diesel & Gas Turbine Publications mourns the untimely passing of Robert A. Wilson, our former president and chief executive officer, on April 29. Wilson was 68. Wilson joined Diesel & Gas Turbine Publications from Chilton Co. in 1979 as vice president and editorial director for North American magazines. Nine years later he became general manager of the company's headquarters operation in Waukesha, Wis., and in 1991 was named president. In 2005, after a stint in Detroit as publisher of Diesel & Gas Turbine Publications' Automotive Industries magazine, he returned to the company's headquarters as CEO, a position he held until his retirement in spring 2007.
