More than a year after the company debuted its first line of internal combustion (IC) forklift trucks, Crown Equipment Corp., New Bremen, Ohio, is adding a new dimension to the C-5 series. The new pneumatic tire C-5 is a Class 5 lift truck, giving the company a product in all five lift-truck classes. According to Crown, the pneumatic tire C-5 is designed to eliminate the frequent maintenance, excessive downtime and shortened lifespan that limit operator productivity in heavy-duty outdoor forklift applications.
