A Diesel-Electric Design: LeTourneau introduces hybrid wheel loader for mining applications

LeTourneau Technologies is no stranger to hybrids, as its en-tire line of mining wheel loaders and dozers integrates a diesel-electric drive system. The company launched its first electric-drive, rubber-tired wheel loader more than 40 years ago and has continued to introduce and upgrade its hybrid technology over the years. As part of this development, LeTourneau has launched the L-1150 hybrid diesel-electric wheel loader.
