New Transmissions, Axles Join Roadranger Line

Continuing the development of advanced drivetrain products for medium and heavy trucks and commercial vehicles, Eaton Corp. recently took the wraps off the newest entries to its heavy-duty UltraShift family, the LHP (Linehaul High Performance) and HV (Highway Value) transmissions. Both of the new transmissions incorporate many of the same mechanical and electronic features of the Ultrashift transmissions, nearly 90,000 of which are currently in service, the company said. Both of the transmissions are available as part of the Roadranger Solution, a program that jointly packages and markets drivetrain, chassis and safety components from Eaton Corp. and Dana Corp.
