Starting as an engine builder its competencies have been continuously broadened to include turnkey power plant supplier, plant operator and full-service energy solutionsprovider. Based on this experience, the company's product portfolio has been redefined and renewed to better match the changing market conditions and needs of its decentralized energy customers.For faster reaction times and economies during project work, engineering and production, modules, such as fuel equipment, cooling systems, intake air and exhaust piping, and electrical and automation systems have been developed. Further, Wartsila NSD'sglobal activities involving turnkey power plants have required capabilities like site management and civil works.
