Texas Gas Rejuvenates Compressor Station: 200 000+hour package restored to its original performance with new GE Frame 32J

In a project valued at over US$4 million, GE Oil & Gas has replaced-in-kind a gas turbine at Texas Gas Transmission LLC's Lake Cormorant pipeline compression station in Mississippi, U.S.A. Commissioned in 1969, the original GE, Frame 32H gas turbine had operated successfully for more than 200 000 hours. However, at the next scheduled outage an unknown repair scope arose due to end of life issues for turbine discs, buckets and other hot gas path components.
