On Oct. 10,2007, the 10 000th WD12 diesel engine rolled off the assembly line at the new plant of Weichai Power Co. Ltd., in Weifang city, Shandong Province, China. Weichai the first Chinese engine manufacturer to be publicly listed on an overseas stock exchange, announced that in the first nine months of 2007, the WD12 accounted for 12.32% of its total output of over-223 kW engines.
