WISCO fixed on operation objects in 2006

Currently, WISCO ensured its operation objects for 2006. At first, in 2006, WISCO should produce 10.3 million tons of pig iron, 10.86 million tons of crude steel and 9.83 million tons of steel products, raise rate of high quality products and high-value-added products, and increase its operating revenue to 44.7 billion yuan. Furthermore, WISCO should shrink costs by 2.8 billion yuan, reduce kinds of material consumption index by 10 percent, and cut integrated energy consumption to 751kg/t.
