Xinjang Dushanzi Project Started Construction

摘要

Xinjiang Dushanzi petroleum refining and chemical integrated project,is the largest one so far in China, with a capacity of ten-million-ton petroleum refinery and one-million-ton ethylene complex, directly under PetroChina Company Limited (PetroChina), was started construction along with laying a foundation on August 22, 2005. Xinjiang Dushanzi refining and chemical complex project consists of 20 sets of oil refining units and 12 sets of chemical units, with the budgeted investment of RMB 26.2 billion yuan, of which, the refining part are expected to be finished construction by 2007 and the construction of chemical plants will be completed by the year 2008. After completion of the project, about 5.5 million tons product oil can be produced every year and the output of new additional chemical products can reach 1.82 million tons, annual sales income is estimated to exceed RMB 30 billion yuan.
