Henan Sanfeng launches Cu sheet & strip project

Henan Sanfeng Copper Co., Ltd on June 12 kicked off a 50,000tpy super-thin copper sheet & strip project at Anyang city of Henan province. Officials from CNI-A and local government as well as delegates of Glencore, BMP Billiton, Minmetals and some media organizations attended the launch ceremony. The project will have capacity of 20,000tpy red copper strip, 20,000tpy brass(yellow copper) strip, 10,000tpy phosphor copper strip. The project will cover 29.4 hectares of land its investment Is estimated at 1.2 billion yuan(USD145 million). Henan Yuguang Gold & Lead. Group Co., Ltd, the parent company of Henan Sanfeng, will raise 400 million yuan by itself and also strive to get 800 million yuan of loan from bank to finance the project.
