Chinalco acquires Sichuan Huaxi Aluminum

Chinalco, the parent company of Chalco, on August 30 sealed a deal with China Nuclear Industry Corporation to acquire 56.86 percent of shares of Sichuan Huaxi Aluminum Co., Ltd. The cost on the acquisition is 236 million yuan(29.6 million US dollars). Sichuan Huaxi was a joint venture between China Nuclear Industry Corporation(56.86 percent) and China Cinda Capital Management Co., Ltd(43.14 percent).
