Metal recycling industry appears for removal of tariff ion imported Al scraps

Coordinated by the Metal Recycling Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association(CNI-A), Chinese metal recycling sector has submitted an application to the Tariff Police Committee of the State Council, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and the Customs General Administration to remove the current 1.5 percent of tariff on imported copper(Customs code 74040000) and aluminum scraps(Customs code 76020000) in a bid to make the best use of overseas metal scraps resources and promote development of domestic recycling industry.
