Building Partnerships

The International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) believes that building partnerships is the best way to more fully achieve world-wide representation of horticulture Various initiatives are being implemented to accomplish this goal. Our objectives in strengthening links in horticulture are to; a) increase our membership and organize more symposia in developing countries; b) seek closer collaboration with international research, educational, policy setting, and funding institutions; c) cooperate with major national institutions, d) take part in research and training networks, and e) find partners in the corporate world. Furthermore, we aim to embrace all of the scientific fields that are related to horticulture.
