Yunnan Jinding Zinc Industry Co., Ltd. officially started production of its 100,000tpy electrolytic zinc project on August 26, which enables it to concentrate 2,800 tonnes of primary ores per day and yield 120,000 tonnes of electrolytic zinc per year. And it plans to expand the capacity to 200,00tpy in the future. Yunnan Jinding nov/ controls Lanping Jinding Lead-Zinc Mine - so far the biggest one in Asia, -with a proved reserve of 15.28 million tonnes (metal contained) and a potential economic value of more than 100 billion yuan. Lanping Jinding Lead-Zinc Mine has a long exploration history.
