In a press release, China Clean Energy announced the completion of the construction of its Jiangyin Bio fuel Plant. The company is engaged in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of biodiesel and specialty- chemical products made from renewable resources. According to its website, the company possesses a proprietary process for converting waste grease and vegetable oils into biodiesel fuel. China Clean Energy started selling biodiesel in December 2005.
