Celanese to launch Indonesia ethanol project later this year

Celanese will begin construction of an ethanol plant in Indonesia with state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina in the second half of this year, The Jakarta Post reported. The plant will be the first phase of Celanese's overall ethanol project in the country that would amount to US$2.5 billion, Industry Minister MS Hidayat said.
