LNG Carrier Industry in North America Estimated to be Worth US$28 Billion

Clarkson's estimates Irst five U.S. terminals will require 139 LNG carriers. That works out to about 2.25 carriers for every one million tonnes of annual U.S. export capacity. At an average of $200 million per ship, the capital investment would reach $28 billion.
