GE acquires Salof

GE has acquired Texas-based Salof Companies, a manufacturer of small-scale liquefaction plants and other LNG technologies. GE has recently launched multiple LNG solutions with a significantly smaller footprint than traditional LNG solutions that are complementary to Salof's technologies. Adding Salof's technology will add additional capabilities to GE's small-scale LNG portfolio. Small-scale LNG solutions offer a modular, plug-and-play solution. They can be located in remote areas, industrial sites or highway fueling stations. Depending on the design, they can be moved and redeployed as needed.
