SNC-Lavalin to buy Kentz

SNC Lavalin has agreed to purchase Kentz Corporation for nearly US$2 billion, Bloomberg reports. The Montreal-based SNC paid a 33 percent premium over the previous week's closing price for the UK-based Kentz. Kentz CEO Christian Brown will takeover SNC's oil and gas division.
