Papua New Guinea project comes online early

ExxonMobil's Papua New Guinea LNG_project has come online ahead of schedule, Oil and Gas Journal reports. The first of two trains began production recently in the facility that will have a capacity of 6.9 million tonnes annually when both are in production. After being revised from an initial capital cost estimate of US$ 15 billion, the project is coming into production at the second target price of about US$19 billion.
