TMK signs MOU with Sakhalin Energy

OAO TMK (TMK) announced in its latest operational report that it has signed an MOU with Sakhalin Energy; which could possibly lead to TMK's supplying tubular products. According to a statement from Sakhalin Energy, first TMK's plants at Volzhsky and Taganrog will be technically evaluated, and their products will be tested by third parties such as Royal Dutch Shell Sakhalin Energy's website noted a goal of 70% Russian content throughout the life of the project, and at the end of 2013, Russian companies represented contracts worth $18 billion.
