Spain gears to receive Sabine Pass cargos early

As of March 31, construction at Cheniere Energy's Sabine Pass liquefaction facility was about 26 percent complete, ahead of schedule, according to the Associated Press. The company's first two production units are expected to begin producing LNG in late 2015. Two additional units have received Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and U.S. Department of Energy approvals. Cheniere is in the process of securing financing to build the additional units. It borrowed US$5.9 billion to build the first two.
