Japan to hold LNG discussions

Japan intends to hold a pubic-LNG forum in which producers and consumers will be able to debate the short and long term outlook for LNG, Platts reported May 14. During the event, the country is also expected to announce the possibility of teaming with South Korea on LNG purchases. The conference, to be held in Tokyo, is scheduled for September 19.
