BG considers halving Quintero LNG stake

BG Group is considering cutting its 40 percent stake in Chile's Quintero LNG regasification terminal in half, The Wall Street Journal reported Feb. 24 citing Mexico's Pulso newspaper. The Journal reported that power generators Colbun SA and AES Gener SA are interested in acquiring the 20 percent stake. BG has hired Santander GBM to "explore offers" for the import facility, general manager, Diego Hollweck, said.
