Kunlun Import Terminals Advance

Dalian LNG terminal in northeastern China, which is majority owned by Hong Kong-based Kunlun Energy Company Limited (Kunlun Energy), formerly CNPC (Hong Kong) Limited, will commence trial operations by the end of the year, Platts reported Aug 26. The Dalian LNG project is 75 percent owned by Kunlun, 20 percent by Dalian Port with the remaining 5 percent held by Dalian Construction Investment. The 3-million-tonne-per-year terminal is expected to be supplied with LNG from Australia.
