UK's Morecambe Bay Deepwater Port Delayed

On Sept. 7, Hoegh LNG management reaffirmed plans to develop the Port Meridian LNG terminal at Morecambe Bay in the U.K.'s East Irish Sea, despite delays due to regulatory holdups. The final investment decision for the 3 to 6-billion-cubic-meter-per-year (290 to 580 million cubic feet per day) terminal could be pushed to yearend 2012."We have all the approvals, now we are focusing on getting customers on board in the next six to 12 months," said Hoegh LNG chief Sveinung Stohle told Reuters.
