APLNG, Sinopec Sign Agreements for LNG Supply, Giving up 15% Equity

Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) announced on April 21 that it has signed with Sinopec, a sales and purchase agreement for the supply of 4.3 million tonnes per annum for 20 years from the Curtis Island, Gladstone LNG project. The binding agreement also gives Sinopec 15 percent interest in APLNG, reducing ConocoPhillips' and Origin Energy's ownership to 42.5 percent each.
