Detection of medroxyprogesterone acetate residues in fatty tissue usingenzyme linked immuno sorbent assay (ELISA) [German]

A method for the detection and quantification of medroxyprogesterone acetat residues in fatty tissue using enzyme linked immuno sorbent assay (ELISA) is being presented. The method has been validated according to the requirements of the International Standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2000 and the European Community's decision 93/256/EEC. The quality criteria, upon which the validation of the presented method is based, have been derived by fortification experiments using statistical concepts for an estimation of the limits of detection, of identification and of determination. The limit of detection was calculated as 0.5 ng/g, the limit of identification as 1 ng/g and the limit of determination being 1.9 ng/g, the method's sensitivity 84% and the method's variation coefficient 6.3%.
