摘要

Imipramine-induced slate-gray or blue hyperpigmentation is a rare complication of long-term therapy, and treatment of this dyschromia is challenging. Here, we report paradoxical darkening of imipramine-induced pigmentation after treatment with a Q-switched neodymium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet (Nd:YAG) laser followed by treatment with a Q-switched ruby laser. Imipramine, like its better-known chemical relative, chlorpromazine, may induce slate-gray or brown-blue hyperpigmentation in photoexposed skin
