Botulinum Toxin Type A for the Preventive Treatment of Intertrigo in a Patient with Parser's Disease and Inguinal Hyperhicfrosis

The main aim of treatment of Darier's disease is controlling irritation, and all patients should be advised about using simple emollients and soap substitutes and keeping the skin cool by wearing comfortable cotton clothing. Treatment has traditionally involved nonsurgical approaches such as topical and oral retinoids. Surgical treatment is given based on anecdotal case reports and after the failure of other treatments. A variety of surgical approaches have been advocated, including electrosurgical excision,9 dermabrasion,10 sharp debridement,11 split-thickness skin grafting, surgical excision, and laser ablation.
