The 13th Annual Pressure Equipment Conference

The membership of the Canadian Institute for NDE (CINDE) was represented February 10-12 at the 13th. Annual Pressure Equipment Conference as a Sponsor and Exhibitor by CINDE project manager, Larry Cote. The conference, which is hosted by the International Pressure Equipment Integrity Association, (IPEIA) enjoyed excellent participation of 329 delegates, up slightly from the previous year. This was remarked upon by Harold Hadley, the Steering Committee and IPEIA 2009 Chair, in his conference opening address: "The growth of the delegate numbers; the activities of sister organizations; and the financial and working support of companies, regulators, and educators gives us cause for looking at how to better integrate our partners with IPEIA. At the same time, we do need to look beyond the current activities into providing a future structure that will meet tomorrow's needs."
