Avoncroft's Young Evaluation Sires (YES) programme has seen the number of young bulls in the scheme increase from just five to 20 since the company purchased Black and White Sires less than a year ago, writes RACHAEL PORTER. This figure includes four British-born bulls, a number which managing director John Williams hopes will increase in the future, At the moment, the majority of bulls entering the scheme are sourced from Europe.
