ACounty Armagh dairy farmer who was one of the first in Northern Ireland to try zero grazing as a way of feeding his cows is still cutting fresh grass for his housed herd some 17 years later.Roy Harpur, 80, and his sons David and Robert, currendy milk 460 cows on their farm near Bess-brook, but each day cut enough fresh grass to feed almost double that number.
