Synthesis of the chiral tripyridyldiamine ligand Bn-CDPy3 and characterization of its Co(III) complex [Co(Bn-CDPy3)Cl]Cl-2

摘要

Synthesis of the tripyridyldiamine Bn-CDPy3, a chiral pentadentate ligand, and characterization of its low-spin Co(III) complex [Co(Bn-CDPy3)Cl]Cl-2 by X-ray crystallography, H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, IR and UV-vis spectroscopy as well as molar conductivity and mass spectrometry, is described.
