Reshuffle in the rankings as impact of new index starts to feed through

The first set of figures since last August see some significant changes on type in particular but also for a number of imported sires who are getting converted fertility proofs for the first time. Since the main components of ￡PLI after production are Fertility and Lifespan, bulls with good indices for these traits have had a lift this time round. Although some have also gone up on type by more than half a point this does not impact directly on their ￡PLI rating as foot and leg and udder compositeare used rather than Type Merit to calculate this index.
