A first-generation dairy farmer who started milking by hand and taking churns of milk out to the end of the lane by horse and cart. He now lists horses as one of his hobbies, along with classical music and trying to guess what Milk Marque will do next. Who is Sylvia, who is she-ee? So goes the old song sung in parlours round countless pianos through the first half of this century. In Germany now they sing 'Who is Cindy, who wis she-ee?' as they try to trace the identity of the cow identified as suffering from BSE.
