BSE and its consequences continue to cause considerable anxiety to thewhole cattle industry, HFS, both independently and via the National Cattle ssociation and RABDF, has been very active lobbying Government to try and make sure that any slaughter policy is realistic and fair, always accepting that an accelerated slaughterpolicy itself has little or no scientific justification.
