Dai Morris catches up on events during the past month. Last month, I was pleased to recall how the North of Ireland had looked after me during my visit there, This month was the turn of Southern Ireland to show me hospitality when I was invited by Keenan to the opening of its brand new centre at the Royal Showground, Stone-leigh. It is to be known as The TMR Centre and its facilities are very impressive. There is no doubt that the Keenan system may not be everyone's cup of team. Spearheading the doubters are, naturally, the compound feed manufacturers. The arrival of a complete diet feeder of any colour on a dairy farm spells the end, or at least a reduction, in the bulk cake bought.
